Nothing on the list can still be planted this year at usual odds. These are the first windows of 2027: a good week to plan them in a Garden Book.
How the clock reads the weather record
There is no single "last frost date". There is a spread of years. From 1991 to 2020 at Cleveland Hopkins, the last 32°F night of spring came…
The Garden Book
Add what you mean to grow and when. Seed Clock tells you if the date sits inside the planting window or before it, when the first harvest could come, and warns when a frost-tender crop would still be ripening after the first fall frost.

Garfield Heights has no such station, so we say exactly where the numbers come from. Low spots and valleys can frost later than the record; hilltops and city lots can frost earlier.
From Montana State University Extension's guide "Can I Grow That Here?" (MontGuide MT199308AG). The guide was written for Montana gardens. It writes every rule relative to the last spring frost and first fall frost ("1 week before last frost to 12 weeks before first frost"), and Seed Clock counts those weeks from Cleveland Hopkins frost dates instead of Montana ones. Soil, rain and varieties differ here, so for Ohio-specific growing advice see Ohio State University Extension (ohioline.osu.edu). How we read the guide.
